Inside the Screen is the second Spong-X’s release for Switch Music Recordings, the electronic music label he co-founded in Bologna.
The album is composed by nine tracks and it is characterized by techno complex rhythms and synthesizers alternating between melodies and atmospheres; produced and mastered by combining the use of both digital and analogue instruments, it is a hybrid between enveloping but alienating tones.
Versatile use of BPM comes alongside to the futuristic drum machines and resonant drones; between introspective moods and the darkest tones of the bangers, the LP turns out to be a dual journey into virtual reality, a progression of synth and basslines that leads the listener into and out of the screen.
